Registration will be available online through our website beginning on November 10th. Identical to our Summer program, food, lodging and all activities will be included in the Reunion cost, which wil be $250.00. This fee is non-refundable. Just like in Greece, our experienced Ionian Village Staff will be accompanying and supervising every activity throughout this weekend. We will be touring monuments Friday, enjoying sites of D.C Saturday, and enjoy the evening with a dinner dance.
***PLEASE NOTE: Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Renaissance Hotel that we originally using for this coming weekend has been overbooked. Our entire group and our activities have been moved to the nearby Washington Marriott Metro Center located at 775 12th St NW, Washington, DC 20005. While this was a last minute change, it will not in any way affect the outcome of this amazing weekend.***
Check-in will be on Friday, February 20 from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington D.C. For planning and pick-up reasons, it is imperative that you arrive within this time block. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please call Marina in our office. Check-Out will be at the conclusion of a light brunch following the Divine Liturgy at St. Sophia's Cathedral in Washington D.C, located at 2815 36th Street Northwest. If you will be picking up your camper from the Church, you or a designated individual will have to come inside the hall and sign your camper out at the check out table. Campers will not be released to "go meet mom and dad in the parking lot." This is for the safety of the program and your camper.
Transportation will be provided to those flying in and out of Ronald Reagan (DCA) Airport only. Those campers flying in to other airports in the region or coming in by train are responsible for getting to the hotel on their own. Staff will begin airport pick-up promptly at 2:30 p.m on Friday until 6:30 pm. Campers will find staff at a designated meeting point in the airport where they will be escorted to our buses, and taken to the hotel. If your flight arrives to DCA earlier than 2:30 pm, we recommend staying in the airport to eat and shop until staff arrives. If you arrive later than 6:30 pm, the camper is responsible for getting to the hotel on their own.
All Reunion participants will be chaperoned by our wonderful Staff. Rooming requests can be made during online registration. It is important to note, our rooming block is only for participants of the Reunion, and we can unfortunately not extend this for any Parents/families who will be accompanying their campers. In addition, we understand that some parents may want to travel to Washington with their camper to enjoy the sights of the city. Please understand: just like at camp, once your camper is checked in to registration, they become a full part of the program. We have a very full schedule, and we ask that any accompanying parents understand that parents, unfortunately, are not a part of our program. Please also note that if you choose to stay at the same hotel, we will ask you to refrain from interaction with your child during the program.
What We need From You
All particpants are required to sign and return our 2014 Camper Agreement into our office by January 19th. The agreement can be found attached on the right side of the Email confirmation you recieved from ACTIVE upon finishing registration. Most importantly, please make sure to log-in and finish completing your camper's travel information for the Reunion if you have yet to do so. Log-in can be found by clicking HERE
