Nicholas Savas, Program Director

Nicholas is going on his third consecutive summer of being on staff at Ionian Village, and first as Program Director. After his first summer at Ionian Village in 2011, he realized the great impact the program has on the youth of the Church and just knew he had to keep coming back.  At Ionian Village, he has led Orthodox Life sessions, been a cabin leader, lifeguard, and is especially known for his DJ skills as “DJ Nani Niko” spinning alongside "DJ Holy Skribblz" aka Fr. Evagoras.

Nicholas travels frequently leading youth retreats and participating in camps all across the Archdiocese. It is through this work that he lives out his passion of youth work, but his favorite is spending his summers at Ionian Village experiencing the Orthodox faith and the beautiful culture in Greece.

Nicholas attends Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology working towards his Masters in Divinity. He is a graduate of Hellenic College with a B.A. in Religious Studies.
