Nicholas Savas, Director of Programs

Nicholas has been a part of the Ionian Village family since 2011, serving both as a cabin staff member and Program Director. Working at IV, he realized the great impact the program has on the youth of the Church and just knew he had to keep coming back.  At Ionian Village, he has led Orthodox Life sessions, been a trip leader, lifeguard, and is especially known for his DJ skills as “DJ Nani Niko” spinning alongside "DJ Holy Skribblz" aka Fr. Evagoras.

Nicholas serves the Office of Ionian Village as the Director of Programs, traveling throughout the Archdiocese leading "IV On-the-Go", our youth retreat ministry, and representing IV at youth events to prospective campers and their parents. During the summer, he serves as the Program Director for the Summer Camp program. It is through this work that he lives out his passion of youth work, experiencing the Orthodox faith and the beautiful culture in Greece.

Nicholas is a graduate of Hellenic College with a B.A. in Religious Studies and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology with his Masters in Divinity.
